Our company is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the office's financial accounts, including maintaining records of income and expenses, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience as a bookkeeper for a firm with annual revenues of over $4 million using the Sage (PeachTree) software, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. An associate degree in accounting/Bookkeeping is required but individuals with a bachelor’s degree will be given preference.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records and accounts.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to management.
- Process invoices, payments, and other transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, credit card statements, and accounts.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Perform data entry tasks in an accurate and timely manner using Sage/Peachtree accounting software.
- Liaise with staff on a variety of compensation issues. Identify cost reduction measures, training requirements, computer hardware, and software needs.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
